The Kyiv Regional Centre for National Resistance Training has operated since 2024. More than 15,000 residents of the Kyiv region have completed free military training here.

The Centre was established with the support of the Third Army Corps and the Protect What Is Yours Foundation under the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to prepare everyone for the challenges of full-scale war. Life-saving skills are passed directly from veterans to civilians. All Centre instructors are veterans who have served in the hottest sectors of the front.

Basic National Resistance Course
110 Hours

The programme is approved by the Territorial Defence Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and covers 16 training areas. 7 weeks of weekend training.

FAQ

01Who can take part in the course?

Participants must be adults, follow safety rules and the chain of command, not disclose the training location, attend all sessions and follow the instructors’ directions.

02Where can students complete the basic military training programme?

Second-year students may complete the basic military training programme at regional national resistance centres and receive a state-recognised certificate.

03How long does the basic course last?

The 110-hour course lasts 7 weeks, and the 50-hour course lasts 4 weeks. Classes take place at weekends.

04When do classes take place?

Basic-course classes take place at weekends.

05What should I bring to the training ground?

Comfortable field clothing and footwear, headwear, a sleeping mat, notebook and pen, and enough water. If possible, also bring knee pads, elbow pads, tactical gloves and protective tactical glasses.
